We have created this exciting, nine days tour to take you to Cuba’s best nature spots and four UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This nature-cultural contact experience begins in the city of Havana and crosses the country all the way to Trinidad.

Arrive at José Martí International Airport in Havana and meet our private Cuban driver that will welcome you and transfer/escort to your casa particular or hotel. Meet your guide for trip orientation and Dinner (D)
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and take you to stroll the streets of Havana’s Old Town. And talk about the architectural heritage and UNESCO site designation. You will enjoy the colonial architecture in the Plaza de Armas and Cathedral Square, strolling Obispo Street, the main street in the historic district, and see many classic cars in Parque Central. After driving along the Malecon (Havana’s famous sea-side drive), the guide will escort you to a Paladar, a local private restaurant. After lunch, you will visit the Havana Club Rum Factory and to end up the day you will enjoy a tour in a shiny classic car that will take you to the new town in Havana to see Revolution Square and Miramar. Today you travel west towards Sierra del Rosario declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1985. The first stop will be at Soroa Orchid garden a well maintained botanical garden where a biologist will walk you around while discussing about plants and birds. Then continue to El Salto a 20 m waterfall where you can talk a refreshing dip. Lunch will be in one of the typical Paladar restaurants of the area. In the afternoon continue to Las Terrazas and meet the people that have founded this town in an effort to preserve and care for the local environment. Later you will stay in a casa particular, a bed-and-breakfast-like accommodation in a private home.(B,L)
Continue to Viñales UNESCO World Heritage site where you will find traditional tobacco farms caves and nature. Your guide will take you to see Cueva del Indio were you will enjoy a walk and boat ride inside this natural cave. Continue to Mural de la Prehistoria.
After having lunch at an organic farm, visit tobacco farms on which traditional methods of agriculture have survived unchanged for several centuries. The region also has a rich vernacular tradition of architecture, its crafts, and its music. You will then return to Havana casa or hotel (B,L)
Today you drive east to Zapata peninsula and visit a crocodile farm and La Casa del Zumzumcito or the bee hummingbird house where you will see and photograph this tiny animal. Continue to Bay of pigs where you can enjoy a snorkeling session or hike through the forest to a hidden Cenote where you can dive and swim. to Cienfuegos, “Paris in Cuba”, built by French colonists in 1819, one of the country’s major ports. The guide will pick you up and take you to The Botanical Garden, a great chance to learn about local plants and birds. Continue to “Valle de los Ingenios” or “Valley of the Sugar Mills,” so named because it used to be a sugar farm and is a reminder of Cuba’s prosperity. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988, as was Trinidad. In the afternoon, the guide will take you to the beautiful colonial town, Trinidad. Enjoy Cuba’s “outdoor museum”. The whole town is like a museum in itself, and you will feel like you have been transported to olden times from the 21st century. Casa or Hotel (B,L)

You will have breakfast at the hotel. Your guide will pick you up and take you to Santa Clara where you will visit the Che Guevara museum and mausoleum and the Tren Blindado, a memorial park commemorating the Cuban Revolution. Continue to Havana and check in a casa or a hotel.
Enjoy your free time by buying souvenirs or strolling through the streets as if you’re a local. (B,L)
