Day 01Â Hato CedralÂ
Upon arrival at Barinas airport you are greeted by your guide for a private 3 hour ground transfer to Hato El Cedral. After a refreshing welcome drink you will drop the luggage in your room and enjoy the wildlife around the property or swim in the pool. After lunch prepare for an afternoon Safari
Day 02Â Hato Cedral
This is a magical and mega wildlife spot in Venezuela. We will see hundreds of Capybaras, deer, Spectacled Cayman and the Giant Anaconda, as well as Black-bellied and White-faced Whistling Ducks by the hundreds. In the rainy days all is green and flooded, and the Herons and Corocoras are nesting. While during the dry season It’s the best moment to see anacondas and alligators as the fauna concentrates in the Caños and lagoons. Every day you will enjoy 2 day excursions and after dinner a nocturnal excursionÂ
Day 03 Hato Cedral
From dawn cow milking and guided horseback rides across the vast plains to afternoon river boat safaris searching for rare pink dolphins, your action-packed day culminates with an exciting nocturnal expedition under the stars to spot glowing caiman eyes and nocturnal wildlife
Day 04 Farewell & Departure
After a final morning enjoying the sights and sounds of the savanna, enjoy a scenic overland transfer from the lodge across the wild plains to the Barinas airport. Board your domestic flight to Caracas, carrying unforgettable memories of Venezuela’s extraordinary wildlife
