RAINBOW RIVER
 Itinerary
Day 01Â La MacarenaÂ
flight to La Macarena, drop the luggage at the hotel in the village and enjoy a delicious typical colombian lunch. Now the adventure begins! We walk to the port and board a motorized canoe to navigate up stream the Guayabero river. This journey will give us the opportunity to spot fauna of the region, such as monkeys, Hoatzin, lots of other species of birds, and also the caiman of the Guayabero. We get of the boat at a small settlement and then begin the 3 hour round trip walk to Cano cristalito, a small version of cano cristales
Day 02Â Â Rainbow River
Today we enjoy full day at Caño Cristales . We go back to the boat for a 10 min ride across to the other side of Guayabero river where we continue in a jeep 4×4 for about 20 minutes and the last 30 minutes is on foot. Be prepared to be amazed by the beauty and colors of the river. You will enjoy swim holes and water falls so have your swim suit ready. The guide will also indicate the best places for resting and swimming
Day 03 La Macarena
After breakfast, your guide will organize an activity in the surroundings of the village of La Macarena to discover other spots. The activity will be chosen depending on the weather conditions and the time available before your flight departure. Afterwards, transfer to airport for flight to Bogota
